  • 15 Oreos (for the crust)
  • 2 ½ tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 (8 oz) packages softened cream cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • ⅔ cup sugar
  • ⅔ cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 12 chopped Oreos (for filling)
  • Optional: Chocolate ganache (1 cup dark chocolate chips + 2-3 tablespoons heavy cream)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a springform pan with parchment paper.
  2. Crush 15 Oreos and mix with melted butter. Press into the bottom of the pan and bake for 8–10 minutes. Lower oven to 325°F.
  3. Beat cream cheese, eggs, sugar, sour cream, vanilla, and salt until smooth. Fold in chopped Oreos.
  4. Pour batter into crust; tap to release air bubbles. Bake in a water bath at 325°F for about 75 minutes.
  5. Turn off oven and let cool inside for an hour before refrigerating for at least four hours or overnight.
  6. Optionally prepare chocolate ganache by melting dark chocolate chips with heavy cream. Pour over cooled cheesecake before serving.
