Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium head cauliflower (about 4 cups large florets)
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour (or gluten-free flour)
  • 1 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 1 cup vegan mayo
  • 12 cups Panko bread crumbs
  • Unsweetened non-dairy milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (218°C) or air fryer to 400°F (205°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix flour, onion, garlic powder, ginger, salt, and pepper. Add non-dairy milk until you achieve a thick batter.
  3. Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, then roll in Panko breadcrumbs until fully coated.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes; flip and bake for another 15 minutes until crispy. For air frying, cook for about 15–25 minutes.
  5. While cooking, combine sweet chili sauce and vegan mayo in a bowl to make the bang bang sauce.
  6. Toss cooked cauliflower wings in the sauce before serving.
